The websitemercadodocolchao.pt belongs to the company Compra e Dorme, Lda., headquartered at Rua 25 de Abril, nº 383 Centro Empresarial 3CE, 4520-115 Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal, with NIPC PT515541923, and aims to sell all the products you need for a peaceful night's sleep. From mattresses to pillows and duvets.

These General Conditions of Contract and Use apply to all visitors to the mercadodocolchao.pt website, as well as to any commercial transactions through this online store.

Browsing the site and purchasing any product on mercadodocolchao.pt implies acceptance of all the following points.

Compra e Dorme, Lda reserves the right to change these conditions without prior notice, and any changes will be published on the mercadodocolchao.pt website.

At mercadodocolchao.pt we guarantee the total confidentiality of all data provided. Its storage is aimed solely at facilitating the customer experience on the mercadodocolchao.pt website, providing a more personalized shopping and communication experience.

You can cancel your account or change your personal data and communication preferences at any time.

Payment methods

mercadodocolchao.pt offers payment by Credit Card, Multibanco, Mbway, Paypal and Klarna.

Payment will also be accepted using the Multibanco reference provided for this purpose. The reference is valid for 3 days.

Product sales price

The sale price of each Product is determined by mercadodocolchao.pt and can be freely changed at any time; changes in the sale price of the Product do not affect the order whose receipt and acceptance has already been confirmed to the Customer.

The selling price of the Products indicated on mercadodocolchao.pt includes VAT at the applicable legal rate.

In addition to the selling price indicated, only for the autonomous regions, are the delivery costs of the Product. These costs are 60€ per unit.

The sale prices of the Products are as shown, unless there has been an error in their indication detected by mercadodocolchao.pt until they are delivered to the Customer.

In this case, the Customer will be contacted immediately by email to the email address provided by the Customer.

The Customer can choose to keep their order at the correct price or cancel it.

Free Shipping

Free shipping is valid for all orders placed on mercadodocolchao.pt with a shipping address in mainland Portugal.

For orders with a shipping address in the Autonomous Regions, a fee of 60€ per unit is added.

The value of the order refers exclusively to the sum of the final cost of the products, any discount value is deducted at the time of purchase and already includes the addition of shipping costs.

Delivery times

All orders placed on mercadodocolchao.pt will be processed logistically within a maximum of 3 working days if there are no stock constraints.

This deadline may be altered if one or more of the products in the order is not available at the moment. 

If any of the products are unavailable, the customer will be contacted and informed of the deadline for restocking.

If you do not wish to wait for the missing product to be replaced, you can choose a substitute product or cancel your order.

If the order is replaced, the amount must be adjusted.

If you wish to cancel the product(s), the remaining order will be sent immediately and the value of the canceled product(s) returned to the customer.

The delivery time varies according to the destination and the handling time at the carriers.

  • Shipments to mainland Portugal: 2 to 3 working days
  • Madeira and Azores: Between 10 and 20 business days.

This delivery time may vary according to exceptional periods of greater flow, such as vacation periods or the Christmas season.

Delivery times

In the event that no one is at the address to receive the goods, a notice will be left in the mailbox asking you to contact us to arrange a new delivery.

Tracking

As soon as your order is finalized and processed, the associated tracking code is sent to you by e-mail.

Return and exchange policy

At mercadodocolchao.pt, our goal is to take care of you and your rest, your total satisfaction is important.

The purchase process is easy and completely transparent. But if you are not satisfied, the deadline for exchanging or returning products is 14 days from the date of receipt of the order.

The cost of transporting returned products is borne by the customer.

To make a return or exchange, simply

  • Mention the associated order number;
  • Indicate the product(s) you wish to return and/or exchange.

As soon as you send the exchange and/or return request, you will receive an e-mail within a maximum of 10 days confirming receipt of your request and reminding you of all the details for returning the product(s).

It is important that: 

  • Wait for us to contact you by email with the return details
  • For a return and/or exchange to be possible, the products must be preserved and in the same condition as when they were received.

Rules for Exchanges, Returns, and Warranty

The Compra e Dorme Lda. warranty applies exclusively to items that are in good condition and hygienic.

Situations covered by the warranty

Items must be well cared for, without stains, dirt, holes, or open seams.

The warranty covers:

  • Variations in length, width, or height of up to 3 cm reported within 14 days of receiving the order;
  • Depressions of up to 3 cm in mattresses up to 6 months old, provided they are in good visual condition ( A depression is considered to be when there is a difference greater than 3 cm from the height stated in the product's technical specifications. Less than 3 cm is a natural difference due to use);
  • Exchanges;
  • Manufacturing, material, or assembly defects;
  • Stains or dirt on mattresses that are still properly packaged.

Cases subject to technical analysis

Some situations will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis:

  • Depressions greater than 3 cm in mattresses between 6 months and 3 years old (the mattress must be clean, in good condition, and free of defects) (A depression is considered to be a difference greater than 3 cm from the height stated in the product's technical specifications. Less than 3 cm is a natural difference due to use);
  • Unnatural noises in the product.

Situations not covered by the warranty

Complaints will not be accepted in the following cases:

  • Deductions and variations in length, width, and height of less than 3 cm;
  • General discounts on mattresses over 3 years old, even when using a bed of the same brand;
  • Manufacturing, material, or assembly defects (seams, holes, broken or cracked parts, assembly problems) reported more than 14 days after receipt of the item;
  • Missing parts in complaints made after 14 days of receipt (each package must be checked upon delivery);
  • Repetition of rebates already claimed previously.
  • Creases and malformation of the mattress within the first 5 days after receiving the mattress (due to compression during packaging);
  • Creases and malformation of the mattress if the item has not been opened within 15 days of receipt.

Important information

All complaints must be accompanied by clear photographs of the item, taken from various angles (front, top, and sides), and the respective invoice or order reference.
In the case of mattresses, it is also mandatory to send photographs of the bed frame and bed on which the mattress is placed.

If there is a request for an exchange for sizes other than those ordered, for which the company is responsible, the following must be sent:

  • Photographs of the external labels on the packaging;
  • If the mattress is already open, take a photo of the label sewn onto the side of the mattress.

In the case of product exchanges, the cost of sending the replacement product(s) is the responsibility of the customer.

mercadodocolchao.pt reserves the right to change prices at any time, but the customer will always be guaranteed the price indicated and in force at the time they place their order.
It also reserves the right to cancel any order (even if it has been paid for and confirmed) if it identifies any product with an incorrect and/or manifestly unreasonable price, regardless of the cause (whether it was a manual or computer error).
All campaigns and promotions are limited to existing stock and cannot be combined.
