What to do with an old mattress?

Properly disposing of a mattress you no longer need is important for several reasons:

• Environmental protection
• Recycling materials

Reuse (donate or sell)

If your old mattress is in good condition, you can donate it or sell it. The mattress will have a second life and the environment will thank you.

Ask municipalities to collect

Contact your municipality to check if there is a bulky waste collection service, also known as "monos collection" or "monster collection".

Drop off at an ecocenter

If you can't reuse the mattress or request a collection, take it to your nearest recycling center. This is the most appropriate place to deal with this type of waste.
